The gathering marked the launch of Mobile ID APIs in Peru, as part of the Open Gateway initiative driven by GSMA. This milestone highlights the industry's commitment to standardizing and simplifying access to advanced digital services to combat online fraud and protect personal data.

The presentation featured key industry leaders, including:

During the event, Alejandro Adamowicz highlighted that, globally, 69 telecom groups representing 280 networks and 75% of the world’s mobile connections have joined the Open Gateway initiative. He also noted that in LATAM, 90% of networks are now connected, emphasizing the proactive role of Peruvian operators.
