Plusmo Protect at Argentina Week Paris 2026: Technology Distributed by Plusmo in Latin America

Argentina Week, an initiative organized by the Argentine Embassy in France to promote business and investment opportunities and to strengthen ties between Argentina and Europe, took place from September 30 to October 2, 2026, and brought together representatives from the business, institutional, and technology sectors, featuring a range of activities and sector-specific meetings.

Pierre-Elie Zipilivan, co-founder and CEO of Plusmo Protect, participated in a session on artificial intelligence and cybersecurity, representing Plusmo Protect, a technology company specializing in digital identity, authentication, and fraud prevention.

His participation is particularly relevant for Plusmo, which distributes Plusmo Protect's technology in Latin America, leveraging its regional presence and its relationships within the telecommunications ecosystem.

The agenda included several panels and conferences on the potential of French-Argentine relations.

"Argentina Week was an excellent opportunity to share our vision for the future of digital identity and fraud prevention, and to demonstrate how Plusmo Protect's technology harnesses the capabilities of telecommunications networks to strengthen authentication and identity verification processes," said Pierre-Elie Zipilivan, co-founder and CEO of Plusmo Protect.

In Argentina, Plusmo Protect's technology is already deployed, with Plusmo as its distributor in the region. It is currently implemented by several companies, including Red Link, enabling the delivery of tools designed to strengthen fraud prevention to clients in the banking sector.

Gabriel Chapt, CEO of Plusmo, highlighted the company's role in the commercial development of the solution in Latin America:

"As the distributor of Plusmo Protect's technology in Latin America, Plusmo works to bring these capabilities to companies and operators across the region and to support their implementation in markets such as Argentina."

The solution developed by Plusmo Protect is based on mobile identity APIs that verify information associated with a phone line and the telecommunications network. These solutions pave the way for silent verification models, reducing reliance on traditional SMS-based one-time passwords (OTPs).

Rather than requiring users to receive and enter a code, this mechanism enables verification that is virtually invisible to the user, drawing on information available through the operator's network.

"Mobile identity APIs offer a large-scale alternative to traditional SMS-based OTP codes, strengthening security while simplifying the user experience," explained Pierre-Elie Zipilivan.

Plusmo distributes this technology in Latin America and works with players across the telecommunications ecosystem to facilitate its implementation and commercial development in the region's markets.

A space to connect technology and opportunities

Argentina Week in Paris also allowed Plusmo Protect to strengthen its ties with companies and representatives of the Argentine ecosystem who took part in the various activities, including Edenor, Pampa Energía, and Goggo Network. The Argentine government delegation also included representatives from several jurisdictions across the country.

For Plusmo, Plusmo Protect's participation in events of this kind also helps create new opportunities for the technology the company distributes in Latin America.

"Argentina is an important market for us. Our role as the distributor of Plusmo Protect is to help bring this technology to companies in the region, drawing on our knowledge of the market and of the Latin American telecommunications ecosystem," said Gabriel Chapt.

Pierre-Elie Zipilivan added:

"It was an excellent opportunity to continue building ties with the Argentine ecosystem and to showcase the potential of Plusmo Protect's technology, which already has concrete implementations in the country."

Plusmo Protect continues to develop its digital identity, authentication, and fraud prevention technology internationally, while Plusmo, as the solution's distributor in Latin America, supports its commercial development and deployment across the region.
